I have a little toy quadcopter and it's a pretty cool gadget but I'm thinking about building something a little more serious. While out hunting this week I was thinking that it would be a pretty useful tool for scouting to have a multirotor that could fly a set of a GPS waypoints while recording in HD. If it could be monitored via laptop or tablet during flight or possibly adjust the camera during flight that would be even better.
I don't know nearly enough about these to know what I should start looking at and researching so I was hoping somebody on here would know a bit and could point me in the right direction for a "DIY" solution or possibly even RTF model. As far as RTF models I was thinking a DJI Phantom model would probably work but I'm not sure if it would be ideal. |
