| Thinking about getting one. You like yours? |
| We started buying a bunch for the company but it wasnt big enough to support 3 monitors (we develop software and need lots of screen real estate). We now buy actual motorized desks for almost the same cost. Waaaaaaaay better as the entire desk goes up, not just the keyboard and screens. Also has memory so you can just push a button to get to a set height. |

I just got one when I moved offices about a month or so ago. I got the Exec 40 because I'm 6'2" and it extends higher than the other models.
I like it a lot. I try to use it a few hours a day. The mat they sell really makes a difference, especially if you take your shoes off. It really helps with your feet and legs when standing for extended periods of time. |

About half to two thirds of the company has them.
They are well made and relatively bomb-proof. Do not bother with the desk corner model or the 30" one. It's too small for most dual-monitor setups that are common in a workplace that would actually consider a Varidesk. You'll want the 36" one at minimum. There's also a monster 42" one or so. We've put monitor arms on them when needed, and the 36" ones can just fit two 23" widescreen monitors. Three if you turn your monitors to "tall" portrait mode. About 1/3rd of the users actually still seem to be using them after 6 months on a regular basis to stand up. |

I'm upgrading from three paper boxes (two monitors and a keyboard) to a Varidesk Exec 48 today!
I've been using the empty paper boxes for two weeks and love the standing position. Work also bought the mat to stand on. I get called from my office to the workshop floor about 10-15 times a day...standing helps. |
| I'm getting one next year, was supposed to get one this year but my mesh back on my chair ripped so I had to get a new chair instead. We have 3 people up here that either have the full desks or the desktop dohickeys and they all use them quite a bit. I know I would use mine, sitting for 10 hours a day sucks. |

I doubt I could convince my bosses bosses boss to buy one of these. We have two working positions, one has a 32-inch Monitor & two 22s. The other has a 32-inch monitor, a 22" and two smaller monitors probably about 17 inches.
I have enough slow times during my shift so that I will get up and stand for a while or even walk around a desk a few times although I think that makes my coworker nervous LOL |

How do those hold up? In the back of my mind I had a concern you'd get about 6 adjustments then the cheap Chinese motors would burn out. Are they holding up ok? Any particular brand? ETA: Found a sticker for esiergo.com. Prices on the website do not reflect the discounts from the local vender. Our final price for mine was barely more expensive than the top end veridesk. |

I have a Pro Plus 48 with 4 25" monitors on a stand I bought off Amazon. I stand up almost exclusively. I'll only sit when my back is acting up. Its made a noticeable difference in my lower back pain. I work from home 1-2 days a month and always feel worse on those days than when I'm standing at the Office.
Here is the link to the monitor stand. Its hard to get 3 on the vari-desk without one: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V003P/dp/B01A038O9A?tag=vglnk-c102-20 Here's my setup:

We've had a few different Ergotron models for a few people to try, and the ones that are like a giant monitor arm, they bounce/wobble a bit while you're typing etc. Doesn't matter how much you tighten them down. There's just too much leverage on the arm and it's mount and the desk no matter how hard you lock it. And the sliding "tower" style Workfit Dual Ergotron ones waste a ton more desk space, despite having a smaller footprint, because that tower is always there in the way whether you're using it in standing mode or not. And the monitors are all pushed so far forward all the desk space behind them gets wasted. Also, the spring tension adjustment in the Ergotron is a PITA, getting it just right so the monitors and keyboard trays float just right. |
