No I didn't cease my heathen Iphone4/Ipad ways, but I did buy the girlfriend an HTC Evo 4g today and she wants a good looking theme, show me what you've got
And just for competition, here's my theme

Thanks man I'll show some of those to her later tonight. I really like the phone, but the battery life is atrocious. She can let it sit in standby overnight and be around 70% battery, I'm still at 100% in the morning. After an hour of use the difference is even larger. I've got an Iphone 4, and she has the evo so I can look at them both side by side without letting ridiculous loyalties get in the way. I love the huge screen, but for me I haven't decided if the size is worth the trade off in clarity from the Iphone 4. I mean its a very nice screen but sharpness doesn't compare. The OS seems pretty good, as I said I haven't had much time with it yet but I like it. Not so sure how she'll feel about a custom ROM anyway though. I'm already being driven nuts by questions on how to do things as is (like I know, I don't have an android device). If I change things around after the figures out the default one her head might explode.
It's a shame Sprint 3g in our area is terrible, using the Speedtest app on both phones, I pull 3mbps+ on 3g, she is lucky to get 150kbps. On Wi-fi they are pretty equal with a slight edge going to the evo. |

Put CM7 on a MicroSD and booted my Nook from it. Pretty good looking ROM, but didn't have Market or the Soft Keys app installed. It did get bluetooth on the Nook to fire right up. I'm hoping someone in the Nook community will cook that stuff into it and make it into a nice ROM for the device. |
