Several years ago I saw a magazine article about a LEO who was teaching a concealed carry class who shot himself in the elbow. Turns out he was showing the "proper" way to take a handgun out of a shoulder holster. A while later, while showing how it happened, he did it again-same elbow.

If it wasn't due to stupidity I'd say it is as rare as Henri Bource getting his left leg bitten off by a great white shark twice-once I believe while studying seals, several years later he may have actually been studying sharks and his prosthetic leg was bitten off. There is a copy of the news article in The Book Of Sharks by Richard Ellis if anyone wants the source of that one. Headline was "Scuba diver loses two left legs"

Just wondering if anyone remembers what state the elbow shooting was in, and what year. I was discussing it with a friend who carries and he dimly remembered it but couldn't remember details either.
