Looks interesting, but does it really work out of your home?

Simply put. It rocks. I work in Iraq 8 months out of the year. My girlfriend got me one last Christmas, I just set the DVR and watch the current seasons shows when I have the time you can watch live Tv also but with the time diffrence I just DVR them.  The set up was easy and painless. The only down side is that you and anyone watching at home have to watch the same thing if your on at the same time, but it's no problem with mine because of the time diffrence. I get good qualitypicture and sound in Iraq and we have pretty slow connections. IM me if you have any other questions.

Sounds great.  I'm guessing you need an internet connection for it to work, right?

Ooops, I missed " I get good quality picture and sound in Iraq and we have pretty slow connections."

You don’t need an internet connection unless you want to watch your stuff at a different location, of course that is a major part of what the box can do but I have a friend that uses one to distribute video to the computers on his wired home network.
