I ordered 300 last week.  I'll take a look at the Ramboard. Always open to new products. The Blick board just covers a lot of bases for me and isn't one specific use type. |

Looking forward to another great project from you and the kids. Might have to break out my shuttle door gunner shirt. A few thoughts: As much as I love Battlestar Galactica I have to side with those favoring Star Trek. Far more influential. Anything with Snoopy relating to Apollo missions would be incredible. Teach the kids about the Snoopy award NASA used to give out. When it comes to possible hyper gate don’t forget the ring gate from The Expanse. |

If you threw an election, and I had to choose between Falcon Heavy and a Shuttle, I'd pick Falcon Heavy...if only for the added diversity it brings to the room. As much as I liked Star Trek as a kid (I was a Space:1999 fan! Don't get me started on Moonbase ideas!), the kids might better relate to the newer shows. This is going to be one awesome room! |

These threads are always good. You do a lot, to make great memories for the kids there.  If you don't want to make a big Enterprise, maybe put one in along that yellowish border. Paint the colors of going into warp, then at one end paint/make an Enterprise.   You could also have it firing phasers, maybe at a Klingon ship. It’s a thick paper that’s really sturdy and fairly water repellent. It’s kinda like a paper towel roll material, but much thicker and won’t come apart like a slinky. Still MUCH thinner than a Christmas wrapping paper tube. It’ll take paint, tacks, staples, screws, glue, all kinds of fasteners. @guns762 If you let me know where to, I’ll send you a roll. As we refine this whole idea, I'm kind of getting a better idea of a "whole concept" theme of going from: Myths & Legends- Stargates and Battlestar Galactica(for those who don't know the story, Galactica shows up thousands of years ago and is the seeds of humanity) Historic- Apollo missions Modern- Space Shuttle and X-37 Falcon Heavy Futuristic- NCC-1701 and Jump Gates We could add something different to the futuristic era, as I know Star Trek is not real current in pop culture, or we could stay with it for the very real influence it's had. I'm kind of a huge fan of myths and legends in many stories. Love legends around things like King Arthur, Robinhood; just coming to mind, as they may have been based on someone real. Battlestar Galactica's story kind of hits that for me a bit. |
