Whirlpool makes Roper, it's their low end line, and most if not all, of Sears laundry, and some of their refrigerators, Frigidaire is flaky.  It's generally cheaper to buy a Whirlpool appliance with their name on it, than the similar model sold under the Kenmore brand at Sears.

My washer and dryer are Maytag.  Purchased by my grandmother in the 70s  Still running.

If I were going to replace with more energy efficient appliances, I might go Bosch.

My Kenmore fridge is about 8 years old now.  I did have a problem with it when I stored it for a year and the rubber gaskets dried out, but other than that its been OK.

Same here.
I have a GE washer, dryer, range, refrigerator, microwave, and dish washer, most are all profile series.  I had them installed new in my home ten years ago and and not one of them has given me any trouble at all.

You'll hear a lot of GE bashing here but as far as I'm concerned the appliances have all been good to me!

Fisher & Paykel.

GWL15 washer
DGGX1 dryer

Top-load dryer.  No more bending down to load or unload the dryer.

F&P have 2 year warranties.  Most other appliance makers only offer 1 year.

but second option would be Whirlpool.
