Read up on the new debate that the James Webb is disproving the big bag.

I've come to the conclusion that there are many, many things outside our realm of understanding.

No matter how much you try to explain differential equations to a dog, they will never understand it.

I believe a similar phenomenon exists for us with regards to time/space. It's just outside of what we are capable of understanding.

Yessir, I came to that conclusion several years ago. Just about the time technology was to the point of being able to prove and disprove theories.

Schrödinger’s cat blew me away. I’d didn’t understand the significance till later in life.

Like a fish doesn’t recognize it’s swimming in oxygenated water,
I feel there are natural occurrences happening all around us and we just have the sensors to know or care.

Webb is fascinating but way beyond what I can recognize as being real.

I’m still trying to comprehend dark matter.

Free loader licks boots. See how that works?

We could continue but it’s kinda ‘been done’ before.

That's a new one for me. Who said water percolated from *its* core and flooded the globe?

I think the Bible said it. "Fountains of the deep" when the earth was flooded in Noah's  day.

Then I think I read the other day that they have discovered there are deep wells bel9w the ocean or something like that.

Was the earth in an ice age or between them at ~598k BC?

Which is still no where near the core.

You don't have to be one, stone tools are still very much useful today in a survival situation and worth learning how to make one. Some of those cutters are even sharper than any metal blade.

Yep.

I get that it's cool and edgy to bash others' beliefs, especially Christianity and the Bible, but at least get your facts straight.

It's more of a cycle rather than one big ice age.

At 600kya, it could have been warm enough for an English channel.

I'm talking more about the Dover-Calais area, which was a land bridge until around 450kya

Wow some real dumb motherf**kers on here

Soon as I saw those pictures, they were man made 600,000 plus yr ago, they explained the dating technique

That far north

I received a National Science Grant in college,  it required a detailed report on the area, I set out work on

"Occupation site location for first man in the eastern states" or similar title
Then I can at anytime apply for more grants,, some funky college professors supplement there income through grants

Sadly lots of this money is wasted

Climate charge you guys are the opposite of the folks with DTS,  there has always been climate change. It's real
Whether by man or nature. That volcano in tonga last week could cool the earth in a few years with the right volcanic dust.  Is man contributing to climate change of coarse we are

Does anyone else notice everything we were taught in school is being disproven?

(a) Were you taught a lot about early human habitation in Britain while you were in school?

(b) What has been "disproven" here exactly?  It was already known that humans have been in Britain for almost a million years.  This 600,000 year old find doesn't disprove anything.

(c) This is literally how science is supposed to work.  We develop the best theory we can at the time - based on available evidence.  Then, as new evidence is discovered, we update, improve and change our theories to better incorporate new evidence.

So the moon isn’t made of cheese?

It's too early to tell.

We'd know for sure if the moon landings hadn't been faked.
