Are they still made in Indonesia? If so, hard pass for me.

I don't know, dude.  I've got a lot of guitars made in Indonesia, including Premium Ibanez models that straight kick ass. CNC machining has pretty much eliminated the whole "made in America" mystique.

I've done a bit of reading comparing Wolfgang Standard and Special.  The most mentioned low point on the Wolfgang standard is the Floyd Rose Special bridge.  However some don't consider that an issue.  Looking at pictures it appears the the Wolfgang Standard is currently made in Indonesia, which in my experience of 2 CV Squiers, a Kramer 84, and a Schecter Reaper 6 I've little to complain about.  The Schecter has an issue with the neck pickup or switching/wiring.  I almost never use the neck pickup so I haven't fretted about it.  As best I can tell the Wolfgang Standard is considered as good as or perhaps better than other options at its price point.  Not my personal opinion, but what what I've gleaned from various forums and reviews.

I have one from Dean an it is trash. I'll still buy Korean, Mexican and Japanese but not Indonesia. Even Mexican is iffy to me. I have one of the EVH striped series from Mexico and it is not good. Maybe I'll try again in a few year.
