doing their own "employee pricing for all" programs? My dad is telling me, and other people, that he heard on the radio of Ford and Chrysler doing these promos, but I've haven't heard anything of it, unless it's a regional or dealer promo, but it seems unlikely. Can ARFCOM tell me the facts? |
|
I haven't heard about anything like that through Ford or Chrysler. Here's a link to Ford's current incentives - Ford Incentives by Model |
neither of those are American GMs the trailblazer is made by izuzu and the gto is a Holden(owned by GM) imported from austraila |
That's the thing-if FoMoCo and Chrysler were doing the employee pricing promo-wouldn't we(read=all of us in the nation) have heard of it? |
Really? The sticker on the door of my parent's TB says "Moraine Ohio", same where the S-10 Blazers are built. Other TB's are made in Oklahoma City(the EXT version IIRC) You're right on the GTO. |
Their pricing strategy sucks anyway...employee pricing or not. A few years ago, my mom decided she wanted a Saturn VUE: They will not haggle with you on price, and they do not give anything on a trade in. Needless to say, we didn't get the Saturn. |
I'm not sure on this but I thought the Isuzu Ascender was a GMC Envoy with Isuzu badges slapped on. |
Yeah, you're right about the S10, etc. You're probably right about the TB. I remember some show that said it was the other way around, but I really have no idea past that show... |
Isuzu used to sell the S-10 with the Isuzu badge on it and called it the Hombre. |
I think when Saturn first started out, the concept was good, the division was pretty much a semi-automonous division, without the baggage of the other GM divisions; later for reasons of cost I believe, Saturn was returned to the Corp GM fold, and treated like any other GM division, that is when is started to slide down hill. |
The GTO symbolizes what is wrong with GM. Give me an F-Body or give me death. |
Ahh, yes, but what generation? I happen to like the 4th gen LT1's myself. MJD |
