What's up with my nuts? This right testicle is hurtin like hell. I would post pics but that's a COC violating... I got a high hanger and a low banger meaning they hang almost diagonal in relation to each other and not level with on another. The high hanger will get really sore when I walk around and has for a lil while now and I noticed it starting hurting tonight right after I carred some heavy boxes. I haven't taken any nutshots recently but this just sucks... think it might be a hernia or what? |

One of the possibilities is that you have a case of testicular torsion. In which case the affected nut is 'withering on the vine', so to speak. Honestly, I'd make a trip to the ER. It could 'just' be a hernia, but I wouldn't take that chance. ETA: And by 'go to the ER' I mean log off ARFCOM RIGHT NOW and drive or get someone to take you, because if you do have testicular torsion, the survival rate of the affected testicle goes down drastically over time. |

It's rare and I've only heard of it accompanying trauma, but like others have said, best to play it safe. Just a warning, they're going to check this. |

I had that a few years back. The swelling was ridiculous and the pain was horrible. A shot of Rocephin and I was good in a few days. Either way. ER. Now. They won't make you wait and you'll get an ultrasound of your bag. |
