I need your help. My bull terrier got this rash about a month ago and it itches her to high hell. The first week I gave her baths, applied cortisone, itch spray, and Benadryl. There was no progress so I went to the vet. They said it wasn’t mites or ringworm but not sure what it is so they gave her a shot of Depo Medrol in the infected area and 20/250mg of Keflex.

That didn’t work so I went back this past Thursday and they took a culture sample and nothing has grown on it as of today. Now they want me to try this cortisone shampoo that's $20. I don’t think it will help so I figured I’d seek a second opinion from you guys.

The rash hasn’t spread at all and the other dog doesn’t have it either. It seems dry and puffs up when she scratches it and the redness comes and goes.

Taken a few days ago.

As of now.

Demodectic Mange. Go to another vet. That doesn't look good.

I really dont think its demodectic mange; it doesn't look like it based on the location and presentation.  Its tough to say what it is but i dont think its demodex.

Damn. Wouldn't it have spread if it was mange?
Also, the vet looked at skin samples and said it wasn't mites.

Forgot to mention she's on Benazepril, Furosemide, and Digoxin for her ticker.
