Since arfcommers have made such strides in settling important issues of the day such as:
Chili - beans or no beans? Which caliber for mosquitoes - 9mm or .45? And let us not forget, the answer to the question "which of these should I buy?" has been definitively found to be "get both" by the efforts of arfcom's brain trust. So, using this post which marks my having reached 87 posts/day for added scientific voracity, I now put forth the most important question of all for your consideration. Namely, which is the best barbecue, Memphis style or Texas BBQ? |

Texas and Memphis BBQ are so different and distinct that, in all honesty, the term "get both" is completely appropriate. /thread. There's nothing I love better than smoky pulled pork (Memphis) but truth be told, all (fatty) meats deserve a good dose of smoke (Texas). |

Go get some fresh air. Its winter in CO, what can I say .
Also, be sure to keep the votes coming people, this issue is important and must be solved (it will be tough to arrive at the correct answer, however, since TX is so large and they vote as a block ).

Interesting that you two didn't want to say anything to Renegade, even though his comment was all but identical to mine. My guess is tnsparky is a retread who will soon enough be gone. |

I vote Texas and anything to do with Memphis sucks. While I would normally agree with you about Memphis, let us not forget that such fine things as the best BBQ in the world and Elvis come from there. I thought Elvis was from MS. Born in MS, move to Memphis as a child. So I will ammend my remark to say is partly responsible for giving us Elvis. |

Please don't disparage members for not being team members For the record, I have nothing against your post count; it was just a GD jab and I hope you didn't take it personally. I am glad you are enjoying the site. I figured you were both probably giving me a healthy dose of shit, that was part of the reason for making the thread. |
