My blood pressure is abnormally high. I felt funny last night and checked it and it was 150/100 ish.
Same thing today.

I had an epidural steroid injection on Thursday. Is it related?

I really feel weird and not sure what to do. I really don't want to go the ER.

I figger strangers online know more than some doc in a hospital.

Update- Went to the ER. Blood tests, CAT scan, and a valium. Nothing found but high blood pressure.

So apparently I all of a sudden developed HBP for no reason. That was a waste of money.

You need to at least call your physician or if you can't reach him, call the hospital.  Maybe not a 911 call, but I'd seek at least some

input from a qualified medical professional, and not some internet forum.

This is not medical advice, nor should this be considered a substitute for advice from your practitioner.

Your BP isn't "danger zone" high, and at that level is probably completely unrelated to your symptoms (your diastolic is up a bit).  A bit of discomfort or anxiety could easily give you the BP you currently have, so it may be a chicken-or-the-egg situation.

The steroid injection you received could DEFINITELY make you feel funny.  The last time I was on steroids, it was like speed... didn't sleep for days, very emotionally labile, euphoria, etc... mental-status changes have been documented with steroids of all sorts, up-to-and-including mania and psychotic episodes in high-enough doses.

My money's on the steroids.  Ever had those types of injections before?

First time with the injections. I do have a history with anxiety issues. I kinda figured my anxiety was feeding into
how I am feeling.

Good, sound logic like this has no place in GD.

Seriously, consult your doc.

And I second it. Especially since you have had anxiety before.

I get epidural injections sometimes too, For back problems Im guessing.

But I never felt any anything other than the desired effect.

Sounds like you need to see the doc about a possible Hypertension problem.

Which can easily be corrected, but get it corrected because unchecked it can do some damage over time.

And no your not too young to have high blood pressure. (Hypertension)

Make sure you get diagnosed with high blood pressure. That way, it will be a pre-existing condition which haunts you for the rest of your life.

Yeah it was for my back. I don't normally have high blood pressure. It gets checked fairly regularly, because my inlaws
all have heart issues and my wife checks hers and mine quite often.

Epidural steroid injections make my balls itch and shorten my fuse.

My wife always said I was such a pleasure to be around after a procedure, what with the walking around scratching my balls and cursing under my breath and whatnot.
