I have occasional gall bladder problems.

Mostly for the past year I've just been careful about what and how much I eat.

Yesterday, I wasn't and I ate a bunch of pizza. Couple hours ago I woke up with upper abdominal pain running right below the rib cage, mostly centered. It's also in my back like a mofo.

Urgent care doesn't open for a couple hours yet.

This isn't exactly like the pain I remember,  does this sound like a gall stone deal?

*ETA*
Slightly nauseous, a hot shower alleviates the pain considerably.

I think it's getting worse, but I can't tell for sure.

This is what happens when you ignore a bad gallbag.
It'll get worse.
The very worst is Biliary pancreatitis which progresses to hemorrhagic pancreatitis. THAT can be life-threatening.
Get your bad gallbladder removed. It has joined the other side and doesn't like you anymore.
Don't get in a war with your bad gallbladder
War is hell.

Unless your immediate care place can do an ultrasound, I'd blow that place off and go somewhere than can.
That will be the first thing they'll want to do.

Go to ER.  This just happened to my wife and she required GB removal surgery and a surgery to get a blockage/stone from a duct.  Both done with minimal incisions and we walked out of hospital next morning.  Don't let it get to point of causing more pain.  It can get real bad, real quick.
