I know I am going to get killed for this, but I saw it in my dvd collection, and I've never watched it. I hear it's a great movie. What can I expect? I am not in the mood to watch it right now, if it's a horror/gore film. Isn't it more of an action movie? |

Evil Dead is a trilogy and only one is an actual horror movie. The original Evil Dead was the horror movie and Ash was Ashley and not the badass we know and love. The original was redone in as spoof horror movie that lead to AoD. I like the comedy Evil Dead and AoD over the original horror movie.

I have made a hobbie of AOD. For the lovers of the film, there are talks of a sequel. Now that Spiderman 4 is now being directed by someone else, Sam Raimi has stated that he is working on a script. Bruce Campbell has also said that it is in the works and he will be Ash again.
