GIs acting as normal... what's new? When I was in we did a bunch of stupid shit too to pass the time. Boredom, lack of family, and stress make you do stupid shit to pass the time and to try and relax.
Remember.... most of the soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen serving are 19-21 years old. We're human and we have a sense of humor. We're not fucking combat robots like in Call of Duty 4 or Black Hawk Down. Grow the fuck up... there is a time to play and a time to work. My fellow GIs know that. Them doing what they did was having fun and blowing steam... I served but I never went to the sandbox, but I do believe that they have a right to have fun. |
