Fuck CNN! My dad took me to little league (I sucked), hiked up and down mountains with a full pack and bones in his feet fused, built birdhouses with me in 4H, took me with him when he had to go out of town for work in the summer, he'd stop and buy me comic books on the way, bought me a bow and arrows, Bowie knife, drove into shitty cities he hated when I wanted special comic books or Dungeons and Dragons crap... You know what I never saw? Dad rolling around like a drunken cunt in a parking lot punching a couple of cops. His dad was a turd like that and he never mentioned the son of bitch to me once in his life. See what the death of shame and responsibility had gotten us. Well CNN, you'll get what you asked for now when any cop who can gets out of any urban department or drives away from any confrontation knowing the rules are out the window. |

| I was told yesterday that the Minneapolis Chief of police asked for 400 additional officers for 2020. City gave him 14. Now we've got 13 quitting and 4 being prosecuted. What we really need is a lot more of the city, especially the downtown areas, to burn down. I gotta imagine that areas that are burnt up craters would require less policing than populated areas. Let's burn up more city to reduce the police workload. |

I caught somewhere that Brooks was let out of prison early due to China virus and he had been serving a multi year sentence for felony child abuse. Anybody confirm/deny that and his prior DUI arrest? |

I've been a LEO for over 28 years and I've never seen things this bad. I'm not a fan of big government or asshole cops, and I treat people with the same dignity I want to be treated with. I rarely have resisters. Just this past weekend I arrested three men, each at different times for different incidents. Each of them resisted. One of them put up a fairly respectable fight. Twice I was "swarmed" by asshole on-lookers who interfered to varying degrees- all off them running their mouths, and some recording video. To be fair, I will also tell you that a man came out of the bar I was fighting in front of, got between me and a couple of assholes intent on getting involved, and backed them off. If not for the bar patron's help who knows what may have happened. I thanked him several times. I see him around every once in a while, and I will not forget. |

Prob still on prob / parole tho as thats the way they like to roll. Could easily be wrong on the 13-14 stint. Nothing would surprise me if it was a C19 release. After the officer sues the dept for wrongful termination he should sue GA Corrections for letting this guy out. |

Based on that article they aren't really quitting in droves. I don't understand, they are already hated by BLM and the Left, they lost ground with the middle when they enforced BS orders from state and local tyrants, and they are losing the right when they do nothing to stop rioting and pillaging. My Father in NYC on September 13 when he and others from his agency drove up from South Florida to support the NYPD and the Port Authority. The chunk on display is part of the WTC.  Dad when he was working UC doing Drug Buys.  Dad when he was a Special Agent during the McDuffie Riots.   My Father today after beating cancer and 35 years of service to his community as a police officer.  He busted his ass, raised me right, and is a good Father and role model. I remember as a kid, being in the station and having a cap gun and toy badge and would let me sit in roll call. When he was Chief of Police, he had the Dispatchers let me have a radio that was channel blocked so I could listen, but not key up. He would take me on surveillance runs to find vehicles and have me take part in looking out for the BOLO'ed car. When it came to the agency's qual times. He's have me run the course with my cap gun and later my .22LR Revolver. He taught me the difference between right and wrong. He made sure I did good in school and that I was good outside of school. |

Attached File My Dad after Camp Pendleton and before Iwo Jima. He was born in 25 and his father died in 1933 leaving 6 kids and a wife on an Appalachian homestead 1 mile square and mostly hills. He taught me to fish and hunt but he enjoyed neither. He told me stories of how that's how he and his older brother fed the family during the depression. He taught me to mow grass in a straight line and he talked of leaning to plow behind a mule, that you were judged on how straight the rows were. He taught me measure twice and cut once. He taught me the value of a dollar and frowned upon ever borrowing money. He ruled the house with an iron fist and beat the hyperactivity out of me. I use to think he was the meanest stingiest man on this earth. When I was about 25 I learned he was possibly one of the smartest men on this earth. |
