My personal opinion: Didn't like it Unless I was doing something wrong, there's only like three ways to assassinate somebody, and the whole fighting thing is extremely repetitive. The only cool thing to me was the acrobatics. But, then again, its juts my opinion. |
I find myself feeling the same way. In fact, I set it down and picked up Forza again because I got so tired of the same thing over and over again. |

I played it and beat it. Control was good, animations were good, graphics were good, presentation was good.... but they must have hired a moron to design the gameplay cause it SUCKED. It was repetitive as hell (you do the EXACT same thing for every assassination - go to the view points, interrogate somebody, pickpocket somebody, save some citizens and then proceed with the hit) and by the time I got to the end I was just glad it was over.  Plus, the whole sci-fi 'DNA memory' shit ruined the experience.  It sucked when you'd hit somebody and they would glow with matrix rain. I found Uncharted to be a much more enjoyable 3rd-person game than Assassin's Creed. |
