| Havent seen much about it, anyone seen a demo? |
I'm starting to think the reason Assasin's Creed is even as popular as it is all comes from having Jade as a producer - I mean, she's got to be the hottest game developer I've ever seen . There are people that watch AC trailers just to see her 'in action' rather than see gameplay footage - which is definately a change in gaming

the rumor mill says that this girl fucked assasins creed up big time. robots, future, time travel.... wtf..... please say its not so. |
Yeah, there is some wierd 'memory error' viral video that pops up in some of the game trailers. Makes me think perhaps we're playing in a 'virtual world' or time travel. Which could possibly ruin the whole game IMHO. But I'll wait till the reviews come out.And even if it is a flop...well, there will still be Uncharted

Well, the reviews have come out.![]() Pretty much everything says it's ultra repetitive and the AI is pathetic...It does look pretty though . I'll definately rent it.OTOH, the reviews for Uncharted have also started coming out - and IGN gave it a 9.1 (They only gave AC a 7.5 ). I'll definately be renting this one too (and may even buy it)

AC got a 7.7 on the 360 because the reviewer gave the graphics a 8.5. I wonder why the reviewer gave the 360 version a 8.5 for graphics and gave the PS3 version a 8.0 for graphics. Whats even more weirder is that the 360 Australian version of AC got overall rating of 8.7. The reviewer for the Australian version of AC gave a rating of 9.0 for the graphics and he noted that his version of the game didn't have pop-up issues like the American version. I thought AC, Kane & Lynch, and Blacksite were going to be good games but reviewers are giving them average ratings.....

I wish they didn't put in that matrix type coding around the guys when you attack them. It's really fucking annoying. And could they make the HUD objects any bigger? They take up almost 30% of the screen. (But I think you can turn them off) and even on a 42" HDTV you don't get much else but the HUD. |
![]() Yet another thing in a long list of reasons I've gone from watering at the mouth over this game to not interested. The game's designer may be hot, but unless she's offering me a roll in the hay in order to buy her game, that's not going to do jack for getting a sale. |

Well after playing it this weekend for sometime I'll say it does lose a bit of it's luster after awhile. It does get a bit repetitive; Save the citizen, climb to the top of a tall tower, find someone to pick pocket / interrogate / eavesdrop, assassinate, rinse & repeat. But maybe I'm not that far into the game and it may have more variety. I'm only just getting into Anchar (sp). There are some good things about the game though. When you turn all the HUDs off the game is beautiful and the landscaping is awesome. Also the running and jumping is smooth and doesn't require a perfectly timed jump in order to go from roof to roof or jump and grab. You just hold down RT and A and go. |
