Quoted: Let me sum it up; An incompetent Leia (whose only qualification for command is that she was adopted by royalty) and her cabal of “strong, powerful and capable” whining yentas somehow managed to take the Republic from the great Galactic victory over the Empire at Endor and reduce it to a couple dozen survivors limping away from the fight in a broke-down, aging tramp freighter. Honestly, the whole movie was painful. Watching the Rebellion sacrifice ship after ship and life after life in exchange for nothing became exhausting. The original 1977 Star Wars had a simple message: Good CAN triumph over evil. The only message I could find in #9 was: Don’t dare question a woman’s authority. Avoid hard decisions, kick the can down the road, and leave it for today’s children to deal with tomorrow. You know, basic Democrat dogma. Luke went from being a hero in the original movie (a boy that boys in the ‘70s could emulate) to becoming a weak and pathetic fuck-up by the end of the series. Star Wars ended at Episode 6 the first moment an Ewok appeared on the screen. Absolutely goddamned right. ETA: I DO like Rogue One. A lot. More than 6 actually. Rogue One is some good storytelling. It's inadvertently a re-telling of the battle of King's Mountain. |

Quoted: So 1-3 wasnt? Everything not from the original (what became 4-6 with the prequels) were dogshit. Jar jar. The trade Federation? Complete garbage. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: I’m a huge Star Wars geek and still haven’t watched “episode 9”. Eight broke me. Do yourself a favor: never watch 9. Its complete trash. In fact, just imagine 7 & 8 never happened either, and you will be much more happy. So 1-3 wasnt? Everything not from the original (what became 4-6 with the prequels) were dogshit. Jar jar. The trade Federation? Complete garbage. 1-3s dialog was bad but the core story behind it was good. Between 2 & 3 Lucas made the smartest move by hiring Dave Filoni to fix Star Wars for him. |

Quoted: For the life of me, I will never understand why I would ever want to watch a video of someone reacting to watching a video. My 10 year old watches reaction videos on YouTube all of the time. Also don't understand watching videos of other people playing video games. Why wouldn't you just play the game yourself? Have we become this lazy? Maybe I'm just old and out of touch... View Quote I mostly feel the same way about reaction videos. I see a whole lot of videos about '80s or '90s music like Aerosmith or Metallica or Phil Collins, etc... And the person acts as if they have never heard it before. It's insulting, really. |

Wait there's a 7,8,9?
lol. Star wars was my obsession as a child, but since Disney took over, it's been dead to me. Hell, let's be honest, JarJar Binks killed it for me. |

Awesome....
Took me 3 days to get thru that POS movie....and that was like a year after it was out because I could not bring myself to watch it. I saw 8 in the theater and was like WTF right at the beginning with the light saber toss.... I tried watching 8 a second time because I thought that maybe it was better the second time around and F! no... Kathleen Kennedy needs to be sent packing on the broom she rode in on. Latest I've heard is she doesn't want to leave after she destroys Indiana Jones...she is trying to get a new contract to stay head of Lucas Film.... She is the embodiment of go woke go broke. Her main goal is to invoke her girl power politics into Lucas Film products. That pic of her and her gals with the Force is Female t-shirts is no joke. She has demanded scripts that destroy and demean the legacy male heroes from the 1970s. Kenobi a bumbling idiot who has to be saved and bossed around by a 10 year old Leia. Luke...turning his back on the force and tossing his LIght saber, Rey being all powerfull (don't need a man) with zero character arc, Lando a metro sexual who has to sleep with his droid... Indiana Jones erased from history and replaced by Phoebe Waller... The only good stuff coming out of Lucas is stuff that KK has kept her hands out of.. |

I mean, spoilers I guess?
Rey is the granddaughter of the Emperor. The Palpatine family has taken the title, chattel, and legacy of the Skywalkers. |

Rogue One was the second or third best one.
IV was best. Then Rogue or V. The rest were really bad. |

Quoted: I’m a huge Star Wars geek and still haven’t watched “episode 9”. Eight broke me. View Quote For some time I didn't watch 9 either. Episode 8 was terrible. It made a Pauly Shore movie look like Lawrence of Arabia. I felt like that lady in Airplane who said " I haven't gotten this sick since I watched that Ronald Reagan movie". Episode 9 wasn't much better. It's amazing what a man hating dike can do to a franchise when she wants to destroy it. |
