Anyone ever tried one? I can't bring myself to spend $50 for 12 pies shipped 2nd day air from Los Angeles. |
Always use the cheap cuts because you need to stew it long and so it doesnt dry out. I use chuck. The reason we say 'meat pie' as opposed to 'beef pie' is that roo meat is often used. I made a dinner pic thread a few weeks ago where i made one. Try and find it if you can. Pies are cheap to make it doesnt cost more than $5 to feed your whole family. Also you can flavour them however you want. Cook a thai curry thicken it up well and shove it in a pie crust its all good. |
