an hour ago, the wind was causing my patio to make noises I've never heard this house make before.

I'm getting sick of these Spring storms.  When I was a kid in TX, I don't remember the frequency of these wind/hail/lightning fests like we've seen the past couple of Springs.  Maybe it's just the added perspective of now being a home-owner.

New Braunfels had the hail storm last Tuesday.  The insurance adjuster was by today.  I can't wait to see what he has to say.

Shit.  The crap here in the Kendalia area is much tougher than the crap you Austin folks are getting.

San Antonio is about to get phucked!  The two storms are CONVERGING on the city.  Yes, mesos from the southwest and north are moving towards each other.

Ok, I admit it. I'm actually in Kendalia. But it's pretty bad! All because we met for the national day of prayer this evening and prayed for rain.

Fellas, send some of that moisture down this way towards the coast.  We are drying up here.

What, did the ocean leave you high and dry again?

No, all the illegals sopped up the water from the Rio Grande when they got done with their swim.

I'm in Austin too, but my ranch is in Goliad and damn if I have not had any measurable rain for about four months.  Very dry down there.

I think we have had, maybe,  1/10th of an inch in the last 8 months here in Corpus.  Farmers are really starting to see any possible profits wilting away.

Damn, the radar is rather impressive.  Hold together baby!  Hail dents don't count unless you earn them..

ETA: Close enough for me to watch the show!  Hope you all didn't suffer any damage.

According to the RADAR images, I should have been well & truly F#CKED.

We got lots of wing & rain, but barely any hail. I feel fortunate!

One of the best things about living in the Austin area is the storms.
I love them.  I am humbled by them.  I am awestruck by them.

But tonite is a pussy-storm compared to last week - so far.

Bring it on...
