Any automation guys in here?  I have a question about talking to a device via Modbus.  I'll wait to see if anybody's in here before writing it all out LOL.

If the device talks modbus and the EMS has a modbus license it should be pretty easy. Just connected two modbus pump controllers to my automation system

OK so here we go.  I'l be using a "Click" PLC as a master, and a humidity sensor unit will be the one and only slave on channel 1.

The Modbus register map, as provided by the sensor manufacturer, is below.

My question is, how do I harvest the data in the first 5 fields and dump it into PLC memory that I can then manipulate, display, and log?  Once I get it into PLC memory, I'm good.
I assume I use the "receive" command at the appropriate time?

I guess I'm a little confused about the "logical address" and the "PDU address" and how they are used, what they mean.
