Any of you guys ever worked with or seen Av-DEC products? We used the heck out of them on the HH-60 since we flew over salt water at low level every day and corrosion was a constant battle. They make a wide variety of great products for military and civilian aircraft. I'm going to have to try to get these -135 guys on board with them, I did manage to get some of their antenna gaskets and stuff on C-17 and C-130s (well not by myself, just helped educate some people that could make it happen). Navair is getting the $ to order complete kits for all the Navy Reserve and USMC C-130s. We are also fighting Lockheed and getting the Av-Dec gaskets installed while the C-130Js are build. Lockheed is being a PITA because they don't want to change the engineering drawings. The P-3's are also getting them now. Everybody that uses them says they are good stuff. TYCOM |
