Destructible environments=awesome commander mode=awesome Beyond that, looks a lot like BF3....so I won't be buying on release. In before the "online all the time" bitching.

| For all of the annoying problems with its launch, community support, game-breaking glitches, slow patches, BF3 is still a fantastic game. It just could have been so much better. So I'm really excited BF4 will be that game, even if it's not a leap forward in game engine mechanics, etc. |

If they plan on forcing you to use battlelog + search for servers/launch the game via browser like they did with BF3 then fuck them. My jimmies still get rustled every time I glance over at my shelf of games and see BF3 sitting in there. Fuck battlelog, fuck external server browsers, fuck launching games from a browser, fuck origin.  |

Blacklist seems to be a vast improvement over Conviction. Conviction wasn't horrible, it just wasn't a Splinter Cell game in the classic sense. If you're into action cover shooters, you probably liked it. If you were into the original SC trilogy and expected more of the same, Conviction sucked. I love the original trilogy and I'm cautiously optimistic about Blacklist. I hate that they ditched Michael Ironside, but the gameplay does look like it's getting back to its roots. Plus, spys vs. mercs is back.

It's just gonna be BF3 with tweaked graphics, new maps/weapons, and a gamemode or two(a expansion at best but will be sold as a all new game ). It's EA so I'm not expecting much anyways. They are very gifted at ruining games. I'll be playing Arma 3 instead.

Concerning xbox I played a bunch of BF3 on the 360, and I liked it a lot. 12v12 isn't as fun as 32 on 32 on the PC, but the maps are a bit smaller to compensate. I prefer battlefield to COD, if for no other reason than that there are dedicated servers, so there's less host advantage BS. |
