In the military, after every significant event, there is a debrief, leading to documentation of 'lessons learned'. This helps to realize mistakes, document them
so that they do not happen again, and provide solutions to new problems that have arisen. Instead of complaining (me) or hearing more complaining (you) we should start a debrief process to document the things we have learned (good and bad) about the PROTUS, politics, electoral process, the Constitution, etc. This is meant to be a productive topic, so that we can learn from history, understand things better and make better choices in the future. I will start.. I have learned that it is not an offense to contradict everything you have publicly said once you are elected into office. For example, you can complain publicly about the vast national debt and how it will adversely effect our country prior to being elected in to office. The debt has significantly risen. I also learned that it really doesn't matter if you do this, people will still vote you into office for a second term. I also learned that the state of Pa doesn't even count my absentee military voting ballet unless the total number of absentee ballets would change the outcome. Although this makes sense, I still was left with a feeling that my vote was not counted.. and never was for the 20 years of service I voted absentee. |

we can't always just complain. I certainly agree with that sentiment. All too often I open a thread and scroll through the well deserved anger and frustration and the whole time I'm thinking "who has a possible solution?". I like to tell people "Don't get mad. Get creative." One thing I have noticed that seems to help with some of those who are still a little in the dark about fbho is to point out to them "dont listen to what he says, watch what he does." |
