We got 4 of the storms Nov 26th to eval for work.
So far: I've had it to lock up on me twice, both times it was after watching a movie on it. It has rebooted on me once, that takes about 5 minutes to come back online. It is slow changing between applications or unlocking. I feel like I have to touch, hit, stab, and elbow the screen just to get it out of 'standby'. It is slow going from landscape to portrait. Especially if you have a website open. The email is easier to read. The movie quality is great The sound is great. The Internet speed is above average The reception is above average. That's what I've come up with so far.. |

Isn’t the thumb keyboard the defining feature of a BlackBerry? A BlackBerry without a keyboard is like an iPod without a scroll wheel. A Prius with terrible mileage. Cracker Jack without a prize inside.
R.I.M. hoped to soften the blow by endowing its touch screen with something extra: clickiness. The entire screen acts like a mouse button. Press hard enough, and it actually responds with a little plastic click. My thoughts exactly. The google phone looks more promising, although not as sexy.

No probs with my Storm yet and going on about a month of ownership. A software upgrade was released that corrects many of the grips you've read about. No wi-fi but you have unlimited internet access so no biggie. Verizon has coverage where I need it as AT&T does not. Plus Verizon has way better 3G data coverage than AT&T. I don't regret picking up a Storm at all.
