I'm fairly new to lifting and I try to work with free weights as much as I can.



I can't for the life of me do back squats. The squat itself isn't the problem. I can squat without the bar, I can do front squads.




I can't move my hands back enough to hold the bar behind me.




What sort of exercises, stretches etc would help me gain the needed flexibility for this?

Pec stretching, external rotator stretching, shoulder dislocates and shoulder tornadoes (search it on youtube). I prefer a band for the shoulder dislocates and a broomstick or something similar for the shoulder tornados.
