Hey ladies, I am extremely excited, and just wanted to share it with y'all. I was in school about 2 and a half years ago when I was in a car accident, a drunk driver hit me and shattered my lower back. In fact, it was the year or so that I was on my back that gave me the time to find arfcom and join up. Two years and 3 surgeries later, I'm better and ready to go. Finally, I am all set to get back in school for the spring quarter. I am soooo excited!!! I just got home from purchasing most of the books that I will be needing for the classes that I will take. I start school in exactly TEN days. Only problem is, I'm nervous. I am 25 years old and will be quite a bit older than the rest of my classmates now, and I'm hoping desperately that I haven't forgotten too much, as my major is a science major, and pretty intense. Very excited though!!!! Hope everyone here has as good a weekend as I fully plan to!!!!! |

I'm not a woman but I know what you are going through except for the accident part. I'm fixing to be 28 and I just started going back to college after almost 7 years of being in a college class. I've been working on getting ready for a test this coming week the past few hours. Geez it's stressing me out. Don't worry about the age thing there are alot more people our age than you think in college. P.S. You could always do what I do and admire all the beautiful YOUNG college girls. Nevermind the last part ;-) Good luck and glad to see you back up and going. |
