The manuals - get the manuals migrated from over on the old board - I have a helluva time remembering the "old" addy when I'm trying to explain how to get to the old board.  Also, add Chuck Santose's zero procedure in the articles - or add to the zeroing article itself - suggest putting it ABOVE the manual's procedure as it is soooooooo much better.  We're training these new guys to shoot a foot high at 100 yds with the old procedure!!!!!  We need to promote accurate, informed marksmanship!!!  Please - you spend time babysitting the buttheads that badmouth yourself and the mods, and providing hosting for "hey I got 100 posts!" bullsh*t - these would be two EXCELLENT additions to the content that built the site's rep.

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR WORK, GB!!!!

I'll check as soon as I get home, went to bed last night without checking emails, so it could have gotten to me and I jus haven't seen it yet.

As soon as the knife situation is taken care of I will concentrate on the EE and getting content in here. (Also have a few small changes to make to the code!)

FYI - I'll be out of town starting Friday morning and back next wednesday! (Actually Tuesday night!)

GB, he is soooooo right about transferring the resources fron the old site to the new one SO THAT THEY CAN BE EASILY ACCESSED.
I'd also suggest that all the FAQ's on the site be linked internally to a "Newbie Forum" for lack of a better name.  It should be prominently displayed on the home page, and so named/marked that people will go there first to get their FAQ's/Newbie Qs answered.
Having a clearly identified and easily accessible FAQ/Newbie forum might also save a bit on the bandwidth, too, no?
While you're thinking it over, take a look at http://communities.msn.com/TheMarylandAR15ShootersSite&naventryid=100, and check out how much content is devoted to the newbies, and its high quality.  This site is better in many ways, but it could be so MUCH better, IMHO.
BTW, the FAQ/Newbies forum could be locked, or a read-only forum.  Please give it some thought.  RAF
PS, Kuiper has some content on his site that might prove useful, as well.

Agreed, raf - the Maryland and Kuiper's sites both have very good info that is missing on this site.

pretty please with sugar on top, GB!

I apologize for this taking a back seat for so long, but until the new network goes in, I am very limited in what I can do and have equally been extremely busy in real life.

(Yes, I have a life outside of this site! [=D])

Lots of good stuff coming, least of which is a serious increase in bandwidth!
