Anyone ever see this movie? I'm about 20 minutes in.

It's... interesting, so far. Hopefully it doesn't end up sucking.

I've also been told the book is good, and if the movie is decent I might pick up a copy of it.

What say Arfcom - Good movie or bad movie? Book?

It's a fun movie. It gets better after you see it a few times because you're not as distracted by the subtitles.

So far it's pretty decent, approx 40 minutes in.

I couldn't get the subtitles to work when I saw it, but they weren't even remotely necessary and lacking them probably made the movie more enjoyable.

The nerd contingent building the truck bomb was nice, too bad they got cut short by the white kid with the Uzi.

Kind of childish, supposedly it was banned in the USA cause it had high school kids in a fight to the death last boy or girl standing game. I bought it from a chinese store over the internet with english subt. it was OK

Seriously, as much as I liked the book, try to find the Manga. The art is phenomenal and it follows the book to the letter.

Good book.

Was one of the only non-feminist oriented or non-black power books I was required to read in my college literature classes.

Freshman year was a good year for books, went downhill quick after that.

This was directed by Kinji Fukasaku who made one of my favorite Post Apocalypse movies ever, Virus (from 1980)
