I'm looking for some new ideas here.
I just got an Elcan 3.4X and it's ok but I don't like using just one eye.
I can't see though it with both eyes at all.
I guess it woudn't be as big of a deal if the eye I have to use(right eye) wasn't my "bad eye".

What I'm looking for is an non electroic scope/sight that I can mount right on my flat top.
My eyes really suck and the best I can do is a man sized target at about 100 yards with iron sights so I need a little help passed that.

I have tried the Elcan of corse and just about every red dop out there(hate dealing with battaries)
I wonder if there may even be a new type of iron sight out there I haven't seen yet.

Give some ideas guys, what do you use?

Can't you just get some prescription glasses for shooting? Or do you mean a SHTF scope?

I have glasses but I have always used both eyes.
I guess it's just weird for me.

Trijicon Accupoint. I just got a 3-9 mildot Accupoint from Larue; great scope. Get the 1-4 variant for lower magnification, if you like.

And sell me your Elcan, cheap. I love those things.

That or a TA33. I've had the 33, 31, and 11-but I prefer the 33 over all of them for general EBR use.

ACOGs are some really, really special scopes.
