 Battlefield 6 Official Reveal Trailer Are we back boys? I'm thinking we're back Singleplayer campaign is back Classes are back Class locked weapons & gadgets are back No purple haired ninja's or cartoon characters like Call Of Duty / Fortnite Looks grounded and "realistic" (at least compared to BF2042 and whatever the fuck Call Of Duty has turned into) |

At 50, I really don't have too much time for online games any longer. Shoot, I am on about my tenth play through of Ghost Recon Wildlands because I like to just get in a shoot\blow stuff up. I do hope they have a mechanism to have Ai bots in private matches so I can just get in and play a map or two and bounce out. I did like 2042 for the "Battlefield Portal" and being able to mix teams and play modern soldiers against ww2 germans. Was fun. |

I dunno..the leaked mulitplayer footage has been interesting. Bringing on Zampella has just given me this sense of dread that they are going to COD my Battlefield & thats a pretty COD-like trailer... After everything they've done since BF4, I just cant get excited about it like I used to...no pre-orders! |

Have historical periods like WW2 and Vietnam in Portal as well. 2042 felt limited in features, but the idea was there. |

Battlefield 3: my intro to Battlefield, I was awful and was my squad's dedicated bullet magnet. I dug a KD hole so deep that I was still only up to around 0.8:1 by the time BF4 came out. Spent a bunch of time as a bush wookie, played around with vehicles a fair bit, mostly tanks (and later tank destroyers) Battlefield 4: I decided to be a bush wookie hunter, death from the shadows with a suppressed DMR and ACOG scope (so no scope glint). I spent hundreds of hours in empty servers honing flight skills until I was the transpo pilot coming in hot for an extract under fire when I wasn't circle strafing an objective to provide a mobile respawn platform while my gunners got them some Battlefield Hardline: I tried to figure out what the fuck was going on for fifteen minutes before never playing again Battlefield 1: I played for a few hours, really couldn't get into it. My wife got annoyed because I'd say "boop" as I broke out the Pulp Fiction kit to revive someone Battlefield V: seeing the trailers told me all I needed to know ... I will probably be buying BF6 after seeing the trailer. It looks like they're going back to the BF3/4-era gameplay Eta: knowing I once got a panic M320 smoke kill when an enemy unexpectedly popped up in front of me still makes me smile. Most random thing I've killed someone with in any FPS

Let's ask the REAL important questions, for all the long supporters of the franchise... Can I repair tool kill noobs? Can I defib kill noobs? Can I skid steer kill noobs? As much as I love BF3/4 (and spent countless hours in Metro), for me peak Battlefield was running around Arica Harbor, with the USAS and Gustav and making dudes RAGE! I know there's a prior COD developer on the current BF6 development team and even the protagonist in the campaign preview gives off mad Captain Price vibes. There's gonna be a huge push for "micro" transactions too in BF6, it's all about the Benjamins after all and I'm expecting next level nonsense with BF6 if they're gonna try to emulate the COD model...which they've as much said they're going to. Still gonna buy it Day 1/pre-order whatever fancy edition is available, along with BorderLands 4 because reasons...  "Arica" A Special BFBC2 Musical Tribute Performed by DCRU Colin |
