Hoping to retire in a few months..going back to the farm. Have always wanted to get some hives and make some honey. Heard that there is no money in it any more. Don't know if that's true, but would like to do it for a hobby.  Any good websites on beekeeping?

Roger that.  tbk1 has been doing it as a hobby for years.  I believe we have one or two others on this site who also have experience.

I seem to recall someone asking him that a couple of years back.  I could be wrong but I think it had something to do with an email address he had - IOW, something he wouldn't forget.

Like I said, I could be wrong but that's what I remember.

A friend and I were talking about bee keeping.  Can you imagine how much you could get for some honey in a SHTF scenario?  Not trying to thread hijack...
