Depends on the beer, but if it needs to be ice cold so you don't taste it, I don't want to drink it.

Beer should be served and enjoyed warm.

Piss beer = as cold as you can get it. Micros are good a little bit warmer, but not warm.

If its cheap swill like Buttwiser, Milwaukee Beast or Nasty Light then I want as cold as possible.

A good beer however should be served slightly below room temperature.

Ice cold.  Budweiser and Pabst are surprisingly good, imo at room temp, though.

Most of the typical American lagers are good cold.  Honestly, there really isn't that much there to taste.

I generally like my craft beers cool, like around 50-60 degrees.  If they are too cold many of the tastes/aromas are hindered.  If it's too warm it just doesn't "feel" right.

The stuff that American's call beer (mostly rice and corn) HAS to be severed cold (to denuded the taste).
Real beer is good to go at room temperature.
And hate all you want, but Budmillorrs is not beer, just a beer like substance.
