But, their ratings are a bit unfair/tough at times, IMO.

Are you on Rate beer as well?

No. I'll check into it, though. I've never heard of it, actually.

I usually only go to Advocate to check my opinion against others folks. I usually end up on the more forgiving side. I'm over at Homebrewtalk mostly.

I'm am member too. Some of their reviews are a bit rough, but overall it's pretty good info.

That is mostly what i use it for too. And hopefully a trade or two for those rare beers.

Been on the site since 2004, great place to go for reviews I think, at least as long as you're not too defensive of the swill beer you have a soft spot for
