It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) (Remastered 2006) I'd go with a 10/22 and a 38 revolver..................... |

Quoted: Nice, is that the ti or aluminum kit from quietbore? I was thinking of getting a bolt gun .22 and dedicated can for it like a bitty. I like that it's compact and should still be quiet on the bolt gun. Quietbore is interesting, the pre clipped cones is a nice touch but they don't make a short version of unfortunately. View Quote |

Not my idea of an end of the world rifle. I want something with some punch. Maybe 30-06 , 300 win mag , 270 , 7mm , 30-30 AR10 .308. 22 just won't do. My 2 cents worth.

Your remains will go untouched in the apocalypse OP!
Not even a Scav would pick that junk up! (Not worth getting baited or in the open for that equipment) |
|
Shot a suppressed 22lr with subsonic rounds for the first time the other day and couldn't stop giggling at how quiet it was.
The action cycling was far louder at my ear then the gunshot and it wasn't even a .22 can, it was a 9mm. |
|
6920 with an ACOG all day. Maybe my MWS if in a fixed location.

I suppose your end of the world car has a N/A 4 cylinder engine and a vinyl roof.

Quoted: Go to quietbore and make the purchase, its ~500 bucks now for something you may not be able to get tomorrow. View Quote Are you including the cost of the stamp in that? The titanium 22lr kit is $250 and the drill kit is $75 but thought maybe I'm missing something. I have a 22 can in jail but I wouldn't mind another one. I've always passed on the DIY stuff because it was more involved than I wanted but this looks as easy as it gets. |

I just have an illuminated reticle scope on mine.
What load are you using OP? |

Quoted: Savage mags are bullshit honestly, the aftermarket ones I bought are 20 rounds, load better and feed better so Im cool with those. View Quote Are you using the CSSPECS magazine? I have to admit that so far I like the OEM ones better than the CSSPECS. |

Quoted: Aguila 40gr subs. View Quote I was using their 60 gr. Sniper Subsonic last weekend and noticed that it was ok for accuracy at 25 yards but really off at 50, like 3-4” to the left. I had had good results with a variety of ammunition (CCI Standard, Federal Match, Winchester Subsonic, and others); but the SS was consistently off at distance. Try changing loads and seeing if that fixes your accuracy issues. ETA I checked my can and there were no baffle strikes. |

Quoted: I mean I have a .300 blackout, .223, 30-06 and a 300 Ultra mag that should in theory kill anything on the planet, but If you think a .22 headshot from 50 feet on any animal would be a good day for them then I dont know what to say. I know some animals have thick skulls but shot placement would win out I would think. However, im not a big game hunter so I honestly dont know. It has to really suck either way. The cat would be toast though, the bear I honestly have no idea. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: You would just be an elevated snack. Quoted: @Nootropics Did you use the included drill bit or get something else? Most of the reviews say the bit doesn't work for the titanium baffles. View Quote |

I’ve shot one with a wet suppressor and subs and you could hear the trigger click, lol.
