I do P-P-L twice a week... I don't flat bench so incline bench is about 335 lbs, squat is 525 and DL is over 600 lbs.

I did when I was a lot younger. Now that I'm in my 40's and chronically sleep-deprived, I've had to back off. 5X5 trashed my immune system and I don't like being sick.

starting strength for me. squat mwf alternate bench and over head press alternate deadlift powerclean and pullups.
Still cutting so i haven't seen a whole lot of added muscle mass but keep adding weight to the bar every week.

My schedule was Bench on Mondays, and then alternate DL or Squat on Thursdays.   Bench once a week, Squat or DL every two weeks.

That's a lot of volume.

Ever try the Texas method?

I've done it before and had good results on squat strength. The problem is squatting heavy like that for months on end three day a week can beat your body up pretty good. I'd end up with a lot of soreness that wouldn't go away without a few weeks off after a while.

I had to give it up. Wasn't makin enough progress. It gets old doing 30 reps at 500 lbs on bench just to feel it at all.

I've been doing it since November 2015, but I had some setbacks.  I started at a size 44/32 slacks and now I am down to 38/32.

Currently, I'm squatting 225, deadlifting 230, bent over rowing 170, bench pressing a whimpy 150, and overhead pressing a whimpy 105.  Since I started, I managed to re-injure my left shoulder which was previously injured in an auto accident and I had oral surgery which really played hell with my diet.  In fact, I'm not going to get my replacement teeth until October or November, so my diet will suck for a few more months.  Regardless, that is what I am blaming my whimpy bench and overhead press on, injury and not being able to follow the exact diet that I want to follow.

Started the 5x5 workout in March.

Squat 200
Bench 135
Row 145
Press 105
Dead 250

Started wearing a belt last week, that has helped with avoiding soreness afterwards
