Un cosmolined sks thats been in the garage pile for 10 plus years. 2 questions . How tf do you get it to snap together? I already know but wtf. Also trying to get it to mate to new boyds stock. 2, want to make blueing better try to hide pits. Suggestions |

It's an SKS. degrease the metal and use flat black paint. Less work and more protective than cold blue. Most cold blue is little more than wood stain but designed for metal. Protection is minimal at best. As for the Boyd stock, if it's anything like their Garand stocks it's gonna need to be fitted to the action. |

Boiling it somehow changes the rust and it will buff right off. I used one of these wheels in a drill, they also make a hand brush. Blue jean material will work as well. |
