Homogachu sandals are very stealthy, and give out a certain vibe.

I loved mine!... believe they’re called “geta” Wish I knew where they went. When I was stationed and lived in Yokosuka I wore those and a jinbei for my going away party... used to wear them when I got back to the states too... gotta lots of wtf looks.

But to OP... floperators.

Not my pic

This, and don’t get slippery when footbed gets wet. Chacos are good but don’t protect your toes

You don't wear sandals at least three days a week down in the Mekong delta and you soon won't have any feet.

Maybe I can help then

Tevas! During the summer I'm either in these (Hurricane XLT2 and Omnium 2) or running sneakers.

I get the biggest flip flops I can find at Bealls Outlet (on Monday's old folks like me get another 10% off).

Big flip flops in soft sand are just like having big wide tires on your 4wd pickup.

They make the going easier.

Tevas.  Probably the best $80 I've ever spent on footwear.  Very comfortable, good for my plantar fasciitis, and are still going strong after like 4 or 5 years I think.  I got the closed-toe kind.  Only downsides have been:  they take a full day or more to dry if they get soaked, and they are a magenta for tiny little pebbles, etc to get under your foot.

Chacos but always a size to big so I have rubber in front of my toes, pretty much every river runner uses them for a reason.

Keen Newports, as has been said a bunch already. When you put them on and tighten the little toggle loop thing, they just become part of you.

For the badasses in here saying men don't wear sandals, what exactly is your issue with sandals? The way they look?

Flip flops for comfort on hot days or sandals?

I wanted to buy some of the Keens but on a hot day here in TX would sweat all in them so I opted to just go with some flip flops instead.

Walmart had something very similar to these for $13
