Optimum Nutrition mixes and tastes great. This plus it doesn't have all the heavy metals like the other guys... ![]() http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine-archive/2010/july/food/protein-drinks/whats-in-your-protein-drink/index.htm |

True Protein unflavored has proven to be very versatile. I bought a bunch of the flavors and they are okay, but my favorite mix so far is 16oz of water, two scoops of whey and a single serving Crystal Light (I use Walmart generic) packet. Stick with basic flavors like Cherry, Grape and Fruit Punch and it is GTG. I recently tried Coke Zero and whey and enjoyed the experience greatly. Finally, you can't go wrong with 2% milk, whey and sugar free chocolate syrup.

I'll have to research how much lead that actually is... |

ON whey - cookies and cream is probably my all-time fav, fruit punch is good for something off the beaten path (I normally don't like fruit flavors). I almost always mix in fat free milk but they're fine in water too. Don't find their caseine as tasty (or to mix as easily) but it's not as bad as some of the stuff I've tried. |

so many different responses. I thought there would be one that stuck out. I have heard good things about Muscle Milk tho and that was mentioned a couple times.
I want a low carb, version. plan on mixing it with skim milk and some fruit after workouts at night so I am not eating a big meal. |
