Shooting the other day with a buddy and had a major malfunction in a .45 Glock.
He was shooting some "Houston" brand reloads.
He fired a round that had the bullet in the brass backwards, it stuck in barrel, lucky not to far in, he couldn't completely chamber the next round.
While attempting to eject the next round manually he had to really push on the slide, which resulted in the slide "sticking" in the rearward position and it was a bitch to get straight.
He commented that he had threw a couple away that were loaded backwards while filling magazines.

Houston Cartridge Company??

I've bought tons of .223 from them over the years & never had a single problem. I did read in another thread a year or so ago, another member from the Houston area state that their pistol reloads had a reputation for double charges & that some local ranges didn't allow them.
