how long does it take to create an image? i asked for "BattletweeteR" and its still trying to generate an image. its probably been more than ten minutes, but less than 30 minutes. |

| While fascinating, this shit scares the hell out of me. It would be cool as hell if I didn't know the evil in control of it. The powers that be can plant illegal material on your PCs and smart devices, they can spoof your email, the can have AI create pictures/videos of you doing shit that you never did, and on and on and on. Frankly, it's getting to be that your best defense against tech being able to ruin your life is to have never really used tech (though obviously there are some digital things that everyone not living in an aboriginal tribe has to be involved-in). If I hadn't had a 30 year IT career and had my shit everywhere out on the "digiverse", I'd be laying low. Kind of like the school of fish style self "defense". This is all fucked and I can't geek out on how neat it is, because that would be like marveling at a shining guillotine as it hangs above my head. |
