Can anyone that has seen a live show tell me if its worth it or not? I have had a couple people tell me that its quite the experience but I'm still on the fence and its fairly expensive... |

If you like percussion based original instrumental music and have a sarcastic, conservative sense of humor, odds are you will find them immensely entertaining. The last time I saw them was at the Venetion in Las Vegas and they were outstanding. The music was fantastic, the sound quality was excellent and the visual effects were stunning. Tip if you haven't seen them before: don't wear your best suit to the show if you get seats in the front and center rows. |

I saw them at the Pond in Anehiem - seventh row center - and loved it. If you've got the BMG video it was the same group - Tracey Bonham, the male singer, and the rest. One drummer and 13 percussionist sure put out the energy. We'd never seen them before so we really enjoyed the experence. The group on the DVD and the one that tours is from NYC I've been told. The group in Lost Wages is a different group with the same effect. |

I have seen them 3 times. They are awesome, but you have to have an appreciation of live entertainment. I see alot of haters on this thread, and at first, I did not understand, but then I realized what the problem is. You have to first be able to appreciate theater before you appreciate acts that push the envelope. If the sum total of your experience with live entertainment consists of strippers, er, exotic dancers, demo derby's and pro wrestling, you *might* not appreciate this. [I'm not saying those things are bad....] |
A big +1 Also don't be late to the show! |
The traveling show is worth every penny. The Vegas show is good, but not as worth it. SG |

Saw them last year in Vegas. I really thought parts were good but they do this whole act of regurgitating twinkies and making sculptures that made me want to puke. They also made art by squirting ink in their mouths and spitting it on spinning canvases which they then sold in the gift shop. I didn't pay like $90 a ticket to watch some morons throw up and call it art Go see "O" that was really worth the money. |
thanks, Homer
