Delemorte, can I ask what the guy charges for reupholstering? Might get mine done next winter. Skip is one hell of a guy first off but i paid 1600 delivered. We live 3000 miles apart so you can imagine shipping hit me pretty hard for something that large.. I got two buckets and the bench as well as snap on covers (new fiberglass seats). PM me with your email info and when they arrive i can send you some detailed pics. I did find some guys locally who would do the same job for around 1300 but the seats would have been wood. the reason i am replacing what i have is the wood started delaminating.. I really wanted a more solid seat for my fat ass. |

The two best days of boat ownership. 1. The day you buy the boat. 2. The day you sell the boat. Damn, beat me to it... Although I'm familiar with the pains...I still wouldn't mind owning one once I get my finances right. People say this, but I have been happy with the ones I have had. I can't imagine going through a summer with out one. |
I've got a Coleman RAM-X boat. Almost been sunk twice. Got it for free since the PO abandoned it. No title, so I can't take it on public water. Spent $20 to make it seaworthy again. I've had a lot of fun in that boat, even before it was mine. That reminds me, I need to do an extended sea trial since I patched it up and now that I've got a truck to haul it with. Pics would be forthcoming, but you assholes would just laugh too much.

Memorial Day. Sheesh. If I was in MO I would have it in the water by end of April. Nice boat! Did she come with it? It will be in the water before then, but that is the big time party start of summer weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks. Plus, who wants to wakeboard or go swimming when the water is still cold, not me. She would need to have a lot less clothes on to be allowed on the boat |

Went out today for 5 hours, just to run the engines and burn out the old gas after laying up since Christmas. No problems. Trolled for stripers a little bit, no bites though.
My boat is very similar to WAMJR's and for the guys moaning about cost, aside from gas my boat bill in the past year has totaled $363. (New VHF radio and antenna, 12 spark plugs) I put right at 229 hours on the boat since June 2009. Got to know what you are doing. |
Hopefully I'll be done in time!

Are you nuts? All of our water is still hidden under 4' of ice. ![]() This. I've got a boat full of snow. Need to pull the blind off, replace a trailer tire (blew under the weight of snow this winter - yeah, I need a cover), and fix the throttle cable before even thinking about breaking ice getting wet. |

Quoted: I did. Just bought a money hole, I mean boat. Cannot wait to get back on the water. And man is now the time to buy a boat, the deals are screaming. I bought a 28' Carver aft cabin. Gonna put on about 20 lbs with all the beer I am going to drink this summer http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c310/dalereed/030120103283.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c310/dalereed/030120103286.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c310/dalereed/030120103287.jpg Lets see'em Nice Boat! My parents use to have a 32" Carver Aft Cabin. I think being older, I would appreciate it more now. But as a teenager, I just wasn't into cleaning teak every spring. |
