Who wears em?

Just  picked up a pair for $14. I have never felt so uncool in front of my kids before.

What are you talking about? Are these some kind of shoe, or ear-covering, or glasses?

Maybe it was  local thing. Bobos were the el cheapo sneakers that no on in school would get caught dead wearing. My mom couldnt afford the expensive sneakers that everyone was wearing (white leatherr Nike with blue check at the time) so she bought the fake ones with the doofy looking check. Everyone called them bobos.

We always use to refer to factory hubcaps and "styled steel" wheels as bobo wheels.  I guess it has the same context.

I thought the post title was "boobs".

I should have been suspect since your thread wasn't in Team.

"bobos" - in case you didn't know, is Spanish for "stupid"

Usage is more playful than serious, like calling a friend a "big dummy" in a kidding sort of way.

I recently bought a pair of Chuck Taylor high tops. My daughter thinks their the worst looking thing she's ever seen. I forgot how comfortable they are.
