| Anyone ever let a friend shoot them while wearing body armor to see how it would feel to get shot? |
Yes. It hurt like hell. I cried like a little girl that lost her lollypop. 9mm 115 ball 4 feet away with trauma plate. ![]() I say again it hurt. It also left a big assed bruise like that guy with the butt avatar. It would prolly be different if the adrenalin was pumping from a fight. ![]() ![]() ![]() ETA: Do this with some one you really really trust. And I'll never never do it again willingly. |
Doesn't the owner of one of the vest companies do this on a regular basis to show how much he trusts his own product? And don't people allow themselves to be shot with a tazer gun all he time? I was just asking... wasn't planning on doing it but I figured there had to be at least one person on this site who has. I never would have imagined it would be bblake though. |
Yes he does/did. I saw the video where he did it for the first time to sell the vests to a law enforcement agency. They were impressed. I would not want to do it myself either. |
![]() In my Darwinian defense I would like to say that I got good and drunk afterwards. And I will never do it again. And from the point when I said that I was ready until the trigger was pulled seamed to take forever. |
He's testing the shooting glasses right? |
Damn, I wish I had that picture ahead of time... I might have tried to do my little photoshopping with that range for the background... would have made mroe sense. |
| armedforcesjournal.com/blackwater/videos.html check out the body armor movie, not exactly what you were looking for but interesting none the less. |
