I got a book in a care package during oif 1/2 it was a great book, froma fellow arfcommer who i think lived near or knew the other, which is besides the point. I'd really like to read the book again, and the others in the series, Heres what a remember, Main character from (i think) the carolinas Took karate in the 50s as a kid, had a friend he made in grade shool after they whipped the snot out of each other Served in the army in korea patroling the dmz right after the war, fought north korean soldiers, killed a squad for castrating his buddy saved a s korean chick from a n korean patrol and there was a love angle came back to the states and ran afoul of local criminals who took out part of his family, he got even any ideas? |
| There is a library listserv called Project Wombat that is for difficult reference questions just like this. You might try subscribing to the list for a bit and asking. My guess is that you'll get an answer in a day or so. (I'm out of the office for the week or would do it for you myself, but I don't have access to my work email.)
