This thread isn't for "tehe my favorite album". It is for those of you that have experienced the musical masterpiece known as Book of Shadows.
My first time hearing the album was 96 when my parents bought it. I've been borderline addicted to it ever since. The music, the emotion, the lyrics, it's all just bordering on absolute perfection. For those of you who never heard of Zakk until Guitar Hero, decided he was a douche, and wandered in amazement how people could like him so much; Book of Shadows is why....plus Pride & Glory Let's dive right the fuck in: Sold my Soul, arguably the best song on the album with what's IMO the best solo Zakk has ever done.

Book of Shadows 2 is a great album as well. I have ALL of Zakks solo work. P&G, BoS, BLS.  I haven't completely warmed up to BoS2 yet. I don't know if he gave up on his vocal range or if it was the blood clots, but the past few albums leave me wanting way more for vocals. |
